Earlier Utah research

Selected earlier work includes Utah mental-health workforce, physician workforce, registered-nurse and licensed-practical-nurse supply, nursing demand, and advanced-practice registered-nurse workforce studies. These projects combined survey design, administrative data, workforce modeling, geographic analysis, public reporting, and policy communication.

Public speaking and briefings

Over my state-government career I regularly presented research findings to policy leaders, professional audiences, workforce organizations, and legislative committees. One example is the primary-care workforce modeling presentation to the Utah Legislature associated with the IBM Health Corps project.
