This page preserves earlier public R/Shiny and R Markdown projects. These examples are older than my most recent client-facing analytics work, but they show long-running experience building public data products, reproducible analyses, and interactive tools in the R ecosystem.
More recent proprietary client dashboards, code, and internal GlobalData deliverables are not posted here.
Project type: Static strategic benchmarking
dashboard and pre-rendered facility report product.
Role: Designed and built the data pipeline, benchmark
metrics, peer-group logic, static Quarto Explorer, browser-side
interactivity, and facility-specific report template.
What it demonstrates: R data engineering, CMS
cost-report analytics, healthcare financial benchmarking, Quarto
dashboard development, static deployment strategy, and client-facing
analytic product design.

Public demo version uses a curated sample of facilities. It is intended for portfolio demonstration and exploratory benchmarking, not audited financial review or operational advice.
Project type: Interactive workforce report and
projection model components.
Role: Designed and administered a statewide survey of
LCSWs, CMHCs, MFTs, and psychologists licensed in Utah. Developed
initial chart and layout examples for the team and coded the projection
model section of the report.
What it demonstrates: survey design, workforce
analytics, projection modeling, public-sector reporting, and
R/Shiny-based communication of technical findings.

Project type: Public dashboard companion to national
nursing workforce survey analysis.
Role: Coauthored analysis of the NCSBN 2020 National
Nurse Sample Survey and designed/coded a public flexdashboard using
respondent state-of-employment summaries after the report was
released.
What it demonstrates: R/flexdashboard development,
survey data summarization, public-facing dashboard design, reproducible
reporting, and translation of national survey findings into an
interactive data product.

Project type: Reproducible R Markdown analysis for
public communication.
Role: Analyzed Utah RN wage data from workforce surveys
conducted between 2015 and 2020. The analysis supported an investigative
report on nursing and COVID-19 in the Deseret News.
What it demonstrates: R Markdown, survey analytics,
workforce wage analysis, reproducible documentation, and public-interest
data communication.

Some project links are hosted on older public infrastructure and may not reflect my current technical ceiling. I retain them here because they show a progression from early R/Shiny public analytics work into more advanced client-facing data products, reproducible workflows, and dashboard frameworks.
This website and project archive were built and maintained using R Markdown, RStudio/Posit tools, GitHub, and open-source R workflows.
